Some of more of Steve Irwin's Zoo

Komodo Dragon.  Largest lizard in the world, it can be over 3 meters long and weigh over 100 kg.  I weight 86 kg.  So about as large as TK.
Yeah!  I know what its all about.  The original Crocodile Hunter mobile!
This one is for Alicia.  They are building the place big enough so that the cheetahs can race.  Just so you know the cheetah is the fastest land animal clocking in at around 110 km/hour
I don't know what happened here, it must've been the heat exhaustion.
The big fella.

Crikey!

Echidna. google it.
Kangaroo and myself.
Coxen's fig parrot.  Looks cool doesn't it?
Dingo
Wombat. google it!

Australian Zoo

This is the fierce snake.  One bite produces enough venom to kill 100 grown adult human males.  So yeah, the deadliest snake on earth.  I was 1 meter away from it (through a glass window) but none the less, so bad ass.
I have plenty more pictures but this one looks the best, the koalas are so chill and just about everyone who observed them wanted to take one home.
Crikey that croc looks big, I even got some video footage of the croc show!!!
The zoo was awesome!  All of the animals were not caged and lived in there habitat.  Here's how the zoo trip started.  We all went out for "Uni" nite at the Wombye tavern and decided that we were going to the zoo the next day.  So upon waking up with a minor headache we headed to the zoo.  We took like two maybe 3 buses to get there, I really can't recall.  We got in and we just went around and saw everything.  Around 2pm they put on a Wildlife warriors show and they had birds and crocs and snakes come out into the Crocoseum.  (It's like a football stadium but way small, you get the picture).  The show was great and I have some video footage of the guys playing around with the crocs.  Cool stuff.  The zoo basically had Steve Irwin everywhere and his family is really involved too.  He was a very important part of the zoo and Australia treasured his life and what he did to help out wildlife.

Surf Board

I'm taking this board home with me.
My first surf board.
My surf shop.  And I had to pay for my board there, you'd think with a name like Alex, I'd get a discount.

Alex Head's Beach

A war dog memorial and for all the thirsty dogs out there.

Alex Head's Beach.
Me getting my beach on.
No worries mate.

Arrival

My kick ass shower, with the shower head pouring over you like a nice rainfall.
The work area.
USC campus is in the background, and this is taken from my patio.
Again, USC.  All I have to do is jump the fence in the morning to walk to classes.
This is the kitchen and laundry room i'm using.

G'day mates,
Our Chicago to LA flight was delayed by 2 hours and 30 minutes.  So we conveniently missed our connecting flight to Brisbane.  We arrive in LAX at 1am.  We were put up in the Hilton at 3am and we spent the rest of the next day in LA-very shady by the way.  At 12:30am the next day we took off and the flight was about 14 hours in the air to Brisbane.  I took some sleeping pills and they knocked me out for a while.  I sat next to a native to Brisbane so he gave me some tips.  K-Rudd is the prime minister of Australia and he is of the labor party, which is equivolent to our democrat party.  The cars ride on the other side of the street and all the roads are very narrow.  It seems that everyone uses the 2 or 3 highways that there are and the rest of the roads are unpaved unless your in a town or city.  Back to trip.  We took a shuttle bus from the Brisbane airport to USC and we escorted to our rooms.  We arrived around 11am on the 15 of Feb.  My room accomadations are very nice, the people are welcoming.  I went for a swim and worked out the tan.  I also had a kangaroo steak.  I haven't even seen a kangaroo yet! lol  The steaks are cheap and they taste like a sweet sirloin and you have to cook them for a long time for it to cook through.  Enough of this typing, I'm gonna go and keep livin' the dream!

Keep it real you blokes!
